  • We’re supposedly in a housing boomlet with lots and units at low levels and they’re trying to sell 1600 sq. ft of 70s brick veneer near Copperfield for only $60K? Has this part of town cycled down into a ghetto?

  • Holy crap yes! If I bought this house I would so ask to that to be kept!

  • I….don’t think I’ve ever seen anything…quite…like…that. SO blue!! And yet somehow it makes me happy!! (either that or I’m just getting a bit punchy)

  • I’m confused by the price. Are they marketing as a tear down?

  • Keep the Sully, ditch the rest.

  • Giant Sully certainly gives you an idea of the room’s dimensions.

  • Probably one of your best post titles ever.

  • This house was probably built by Fox & Jacobs. They built similar style homes in several areas of Houston, back in the 70’s.

  • Glencairn and the bear creek area has become and hidden pocket of low income on that side of town. You will find homes that were built in the 70’s, in good shape, good sqft., ect. It’s zoned to katy isd and cyfair isd. Sounds good on paper but that area of town is full of “wanna be thugs” and cheap homes.

-Grew up in the bear creek.
-parents still live in the area.

  • Bear creek is also full of empty nesters trying to sell.

  • Funny there are so many comments here, but the broker could not be bothered on her listing to make any comments…

  • How can you have a Sully with no Mike Wazowski?

  • ok so that is funny!

  • Being from West Virginia, the first thing I noticed was the giant image from Babcock State Park, not the blue monster. :)
