Help me out here. This is more than my house cost for a glorified efficiency apartment with views of the building next door. What’s the appeal?
heyzeus
The appeal is living downtown in an actual city. This same type of condo in downtown Austin would easily go for $300k.

OK, I figured it would be something like that. Still, it’s interesting to me that the concept of “downtown” is worth so much. Admittedly, you couldn’t “buy” anything inside the loop for anywhere close to $140K.

Because if you (marmer) lived here, you (marmer) could take the train to work.

I actually figured that that played into it. It’s attractive to people who work, shop, and presumably go out primarily along the rail corridor.

It looks incredibly dark.
