Yes, just as Houston is the meeting point of the myriad culinary traditions of Louisiana, East Texas, Central Texas, the Gulf Coast and northern Mexico. Friendly people and fabulous food and music keep us going through hot summers, ugly urbanization and flying cockroaches.
