  • My beer can collection form the 50s and 60s is WAY more valuable than those beer cans from the 70s !!!

  • What appeared to be DVD’s at first glance, are actually beers?

  • As President of the Grand Prize Chapter of the Brewery Collectibles Club of America, I think I can tell the difference between empty beer cans from the 70s, and empty DVDs

  • Ken, would any of those 50s and 60s cans happen to be pre-zip code?

  • Rodrigo;

    Yes, they would be pre zipcode

    If you were at Karbach Brewery on Saturday, you could have seen some of my better cans.

  • Ah, BCCA, that’s where I came across the reference to “pre-zip”. I unfortunately was unaware of the event but I’ll mark my calendar for next year, myself and a few friends will be interested. I was actually curious about those 1940s-era post codes themselves; I can’t seem to find a complete list of them anywhere online.

  • Wow I thought you were being smarmy with “Grand Prize Chapter of the Brewery Collectibles Club of America” – then you provided an email address…guess I need to broaden my horizons.
