Who — or maybe what — was Ike and why does his tree get a namesake street in the Augusta Creek Pointe neighborhood in Spring? Sure, there was the notable hurricane by that name, but Ikes Tree Dr., which slices through the semi-shaded 64-lot section of The Creeks at Augusta Pines golf course community east of Kuykendahl Rd. and north of FM 2920, was in place by the beginning of 2008. The semi-custom, non-gated neighborhood’s model home, built by J. Kyle Homes in 2011, went onto the market this summer with a $409,563 asking price.

A spring listing this year with a different agency priced the home $5K higher — and then, for a few days in May, $5K lower than its current price, before settling on the most recent number. The home has never been lived in; its current staging identifies the floor plan and flow.
In the listing photos, a hazy taupe filter descends . . .
and lifts briefly . . .
and descends once more.
A decorative garland motif lassos together the 4,057-sq.-ft. home’s master suite, located downstairs:
Above the wooden floors and tiles in rooms downstairs, the 2nd level goes with carpet:
Three other bedrooms and 2 bathrooms are located upstairs:
Even with an outdoor hearth and kitchen (above) and 3-car garage, the (almost) quarter-of-an-acre property leaves lots of lawn (and a little landscaping) out back — but no trees (Ike’s or otherwise):

Sadly, the first thing I noticed was that the listing misspelled “porte-cochère”.
Despite the wide-angle lens, the living room looks surprisingly cramped and claustrophobic.
Not sure if this was meant to be tongue in cheek, but “Ike’s Tree Dr” refers the the Eisenhower Tree at Augusta National Golf Course (where the Masters is played). Ike hated the tree and tried to have it removed.

Quality not so great—a lot of tract house features.
I would put this in the drive until you qualify category.
