Uhm…the 70’s called…they want their house back! Yikes!
Mother Hydra
I’ve been sharing this horrendous monster around the house. Kudos to these people for providing some much-needed humor at the end of the day.
Craig
The house that Luv (Airlines) built. You are now free to move about the country.
Sabaushi
Well, while the house is certainly a little overdecorated, the architecture of that house is cool in a retro way. And, I may be in the minority, but that loft with the round window is awesome! :-)

This listing could satisfy ‘Photo of the Day’ for weeks. The tarp, the comics wallpaper, the brick wall, the colors, the skyline.

It’s Hal from 2001: Space Odyssey
“I’m sorry, Dave. I’m afraid I can’t do that.”
Cheryl
I thought I’d seen it all and then, BAM. Charlie Brown wallpaper.

i’ll be the first- and no doubt the last- to say that i’m kind of in love with this joint.
the ugly pastel colors in the bedrooms & kitchen would have to go (as would the horrific city sky line…mural…? …wallpaper…?), but other than that i’m sold!
Claire de Lune
Oh lordy … is this thing STILL on the market? I had to use it as a comp listing in a BPO report months ago … too funny.
Henrietta
Absolutely love this place. Time to re-live my childhood. Hope the new owners don’t screw it up!
Sally
I don’t know what to say. Though, I am feeling an urge to play “Saturday Night Fever” and wear puka shells and polyester.
Bill
Doing some acid in this house would really be a trip.
Spoonman.
That is a lot of house for your money, but I guess it’s zoned to Sharpstown HS.
Also, I wish my 70s house was this awesome.
Matt
I believe this has a bit of an architectural pedigree. U of H student project or something? Somewhere along the way the carport got infilled and gained some colonial double hung windows.
Jerry
If it was 1978 again when I was a small boy, I would have freakin’ LOVED this house!!!!
Darby Mom
Keeping Houston weird

Is that a noose in the bedroom along with a giant telescope for spying on the neighbors?? Too much!
sjh
Marsha Brady! Where are you?
GlenW
I’ll bet some said it was very ‘modern’ at the time, but it screams ‘dated’ today.

I might change a few things here and there, but it’s screaming “awesome” to me, and that’s not a bad price for the size. I’m surprised it’s from 1975. I would have guessed 1970 at the latest.
SuperD
Dang! I clicked on ‘View All Photos’ and now my eyes are searing!!! That is one “UNIQUE” property, for sure!
The Brookester
Color me crazy but I’m digging this pad.
Tangyjoe
I think it’s awesome. And man, when I was a kid in the 70’s I would have looooooooooooved to live in this house.
elnina
Yes, awesome house! Playful architecture. New paint and furniture is style, and this could be a very cool house! I would love to live in there ( but not the location )…

What’s with that random shower curtain in what looks like the master bath where the stall shower and no apparent tub is behind it?
