  Well, while the house is certainly a little overdecorated, the architecture of that house is cool in a retro way. And, I may be in the minority, but that loft with the round window is awesome! :-)

  i’ll be the first- and no doubt the last- to say that i’m kind of in love with this joint.
  the ugly pastel colors in the bedrooms & kitchen would have to go (as would the horrific city sky line…mural…? …wallpaper…?), but other than that i’m sold!

  That is a lot of house for your money, but I guess it’s zoned to Sharpstown HS.

  I believe this has a bit of an architectural pedigree. U of H student project or something? Somewhere along the way the carport got infilled and gained some colonial double hung windows.

  I might change a few things here and there, but it’s screaming “awesome” to me, and that’s not a bad price for the size. I’m surprised it’s from 1975. I would have guessed 1970 at the latest.
