The spiral staircase concealed behind the 2-story front entrance of 1003 Lynwood in Spring will get you to the right height, but you won’t be able to exit that way — the only accessible upper-story door to the exterior leads onto a balcony in the master bedroom. The house is half a block north of the Highland Glen subdivision (which is tucked into the V of land created by the intersecting Missouri Pacific rail line, beneath the Hardy Toll Road, and Cypress Creek). The 4-bedroom home sits on 4 fifths of an acre of tall-treed lot; it was built in 1968 and hit the market 4 days ago.Â
And now, a portrait of a door in 2 parts:Â

The open-plan living and dining area lead out to the boxy sunroom on the west side of the house:
A peek into a few of the upstairs bedrooms:
The master bedroom has a fireplace as well, and leads out to the upstairs patio above the sunroom:
A 2-car garage is attached; the listing says a 3rd covered car space (which can be used as a workshop) is also present on the property.

Address in the story is wrong. Lymbar is off of SW 610, the house is on Lynwood
Wow! a very cool house from 1968 in the outer-suburbs!
Thanks for catching the typo! It’s been fixed.
Am I seeing things right? The patio from the master bedroom has no railings?
I like! On another subject, am I the only one getting pop ups now on Swamp photos? I appreciate needing to make money but I have fat fingers and keep opening the ads as I swipe the screen.
Looks like a pretty cool place. I’m not seeing any railings on the “patio” either. Also wonder why the A/C is on the 2nd floor just outside the master bed. Flooding issues around here?
I too am getting advertising pop ups in the photos and that kind of sucks. What’s next? An “algorithmic” feed like Instagram?
Thanks for letting us know, J and anonymous!
