My first thoughts were that it looks like a compound where you are not supposed to escape from! Seriously, if you’ve ever been to the expat compounds in the cities in the middle east, this house reminds you of that… or, it reminds me of that I should say. And what’s up with that grill in the kitchen? I’m getting hungry for some kubideh… time to make a trip to Kasra’s!

I grew up right next door to this house and considered it a showplace. It was sleek, cool, and modern. It’s great to see it brought back to life.
The neighborhood was inhabited mainly by doctors, lawyers, and the “leaders” of the town. It’s come down considerably since then.
