I’m gonna go with “amateur drug dealer got locked up, home eventually foreclosed.”
Don’t know if he actually lived there but HCAD is showing this guy as the owner:
Turns out there’s a lot to the story of the owners of this house…..http://www.chron.com/news/houston-texas/houston/article/Cancer-silences-musician-doctor-Patt-4211596.php
Probably was briefly rented out to/squatted by some skeezy folks. Anyways, it’s pending, because Houston.
And check out the real estate agent’s photo. Looks like he attended the Dan Rather School of Finger Gun Pointing.
The realtors should compete with the ever entertaining Michael Sweat for a Swampie for the most interesting listings on HAR. They frequently throw a few WTF type of photos on their listings.
Interesting story on the former owner. One of the photos on the Chron article shows a picture of him and his spouse in the same kitchen shown on HAR during apparently better and cleaner times.
I’ll never complain about an over staged house again.
Well, almost never.
Proving once again, my point that photos don’t matter (much). Until people buy properties sight unseen based on photos, you might as well snap a few generic ones and let ‘er rip.
Check out the sweet billboard you get for free in the front of the house!
Yes! ‘Listing of the Year’ should be a Swampie award category.
Location, location, location
is that a fireplace above the bathtub?!
I’m pretty sure this house was for sale recently for less money, before it was trashed. I think it was around $400k or so. Trash the house and increase the price by 25% !
