Just how many textures are tucked between the low walls of the facade at 3611 Woodvalley Dr. and the rather taller 610 Loop noise barricade that the property backs up against? The 2,704-sq.-ft. home has been outfitted with a considerable variety and range of visual stimuli in its 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, as well as its open kitchen and living areas — from the mod and minimalist to the more avant garde (that’s the master suite pictured above, as viewed from the open-plan walk-in closet). You can even draw your very own patterns on one of the 1959 home’s more recent chalkboard surfaces:

The dining area is adjacent to a xeriscaped atrium, also decorated with dangling pod seats:
(The feeder road noise wall is visible over the right shoulder of the pod centered in the frame, as is the basketball hoop at the dead end of Linkmeadow Ln.)
The master bathroom sports a more minimalist atmosphere than the adjacent bedroom shown up top:
Here’s that walk-in closet, which leads to the second bedroom:

20th century meth chic with a tequila frog’s flair-esque. Exquisite.
The interior of this house reminds me of the Pelican Hotel in Miami Beach. This house, as is, would be a terrific Airbnb rental!
Nice house, bad decorating. $565k at $208 a sf to live on the South Loop? No way.
There’s some ‘stuff’ going on there. Living on a freeway is noisy and very, very dirty from exhaust and tire debris in the air. Everything gets covered in a black layer of airborne dirt. Watch those white carpets!
You couldn’t pay me to live that close to a freeway!
So many pictures, when you really just need one: Where is this place on a map. Yeah? no.
Yard suitable for ‘zeroscaping’, the description says. Not acceptable usage, according to this lexicographer.
Can we say ” overdecorated” ?
They painted the brick black? Black?
Some styles are more photogenic than others. I bet this is really cool in person. (Exhibit A: that ostrich trophy in the third pic from top.) But yeah, that location…
@detroux, is it an ostrich or flamingo?
@Skeptic oh yeah, even better… a flamingo!
