A reader not at liberty to reveal his or her identity sends along this shot from inside of Liberty Kitchen’s under-development location inside the green-hued (and -intentioned) MetroNational Treehouse at 936 Bunker Hill Rd. The restaurant is moving into a 5,600-sq.-ft. spot on the ground floor of the building. Below is a floor plan of the space from architect Kevin Stewart:

The Bunker Hill spot looks to be the fifth in the chain of Liberty-branded restaurants from FEEDTX (the count includes the one in Austin). The latest word is that the space will open in September.Â

Love Liberty Kitchen, hate MetroNational’s architecture style. MN can’t seem to purchase good taste no matter how many millions they throw at a project. Their Westin hotel and gateway complex both look ridiculous – like the hairdo of someone JR Ewing would date in 1985. it will be interesting to see if trendy spots like Liberty Kitchen and Hotel ZaZa do well in this environment of pricey but shitty looking corporate buildings.
