Where the Aldis Are Going, So Far

WHERE THE ALDIS ARE GOING, SO FAR Only about a month after announcing plans to pepper the Houston market with 30 Aldi discount supermarkets over the next 3 years — with a third of them up and running by next spring, the Trader Joe’s cousin has already bought 2 properties to go with the already announced location just outside Oak Park Trails in Katy: 2.8 acres at Fairmont Parkway and Watters Road in Pasadena, and 2.5 acres at Hwy. 6 and West Bellfort in Sugar Land. • You forgot Ataoscocita

  • If they were smart, they would open up in between 288 and and Fondren as those areas are void of grocery stores per capita.

There’s a nice piece of fat property at West Fuqua and Beltway 8 on sale waiting for a store or they could put it at 288 and either Orem, West Airport, etc.

  • aldi = worst store ever

i’m from the northeast & i’ve been pretty poor up there…& i will never shop at an aldi.
worst store ever & also gross (worse than pathmark, even!)

  • @ Kathy b: What’s wrong with Aldi?

“I’ve never been to any of there stores but I live about 2Miles aways from the Humble location…which is pretty much in the center of Atascocita and just wondering what kind of store will be opening up in our area.”
