Wonder if they’re fans of the Winchester Mystery House.

    From commonsense:

For $5Mil it ain’t doing for me. Although Bella Casa usually does nice stuff, I don’t see anything special anywhere in the house. This house looks like a 1.5Mil to 2Mil if it were anywhere else in the Woodlands.

    A nice bit of whimsy.

    From Old School:

Muslim makers of Persian rugs would intentionally weave in small imperfections into otherwise stupendous rugs because in Islam, only God is perfect and acheiving perfection would be attempting to take the position of the almighty. Looks like this concept may be working its way into architecture.

Well at least the agent didn’t call it a “grand staircase…”

    It’s stunning in my view.
Maybe a few chrome lanterns on that dead-end stair to guide people to the left.

Another interior that looks like they received a $50,000 Restoration Hardware gift card for Christmas…

    From Spoonman.:

Implies inattention to quality on the part of everybody involved in the construction – architect, builder, craftsmen. Nobody said “Really? That’s stupid.”

This house has been for sale for a very long time. Wasn’t it pimped in a designer showcase about a year ago? Lesson to be learned here, there’s a price cap when you live in South Huntsville.

Beautiful. It is ‘lake front’, but only as long as the lake has water in it.
