Count ’em: That’s a 9-building office park proposed to go in near the Walmart and Splashtown in Spring, south of the ExxonMobil campus. Finial Group is developing — that is, clearing the trees away from a 13-acre parcel just behind all that freeway retail at Whitewood and Louetta Rd.

Finial Group says that the buildings will total about 135,000 sq. ft. This development comes at a time when the 385-acre ExxonMobil campus seems to be attracting more and more new office space into its orbit: Southwestern Energy says it will be building a 10-story headquarters a few miles south of the under-construction campus, and a 3-story, 2-building office complex has been proposed a few miles north.

This development is going to crush it. This is exactly the type of product that the area lacks.
STOP HAVING KIDS
Nine buildings totaling 135,000 sf? That’s less under roof than a lot of cul-de-sacs in the Memorial villages.
Wow. How creative.
