Up in the Sky, in Front of the Y: Is That Paint on the Wedge?

Is some sort of paint job underway on the WEDGE International Tower at Louisiana and Bell St. downtown? Or is some new material being installed on the building exterior? A reader who wants to know sends in these spandrel surveillance pics from a perch at the new Tellepsen YMCA.

They seem to be fixing/replacing the panels. From our view in the Allen Center, we have watched them do this since last fall.

seems to me that building has had some type of more-than-routine repair work going on since I moved to houston 10+ years ago.
