What Lies Beneath
That’s a whimpy sink hole. There were ones in Florida and Kentucky that ate whole buildings and a Corvette Museum. This itty bitty pipsqueak of a hole is amateurish at best. I’m waiting for a bus iszed whopper to open u somewhere in the Greater Metropolitan area. That’ll be all over the local news..
Nice of the homeowner in the back to assume the sidewalk is just space for them to use for their greenery rather than an actual safe zone for pedestrians. Hate houses like this one.

A safe zone for pedestrians to walk behind peoples garages?
Why is it that Montrose roads are so terrible? Does the popularity drive the road damage, or is it that large parts of it are flood prone? Could anyone illuminate me on this?

typo: corrected- bus SIZED.. @ Mr.Ection: the roads in Montrose (and elsewhere) are the result of the past 30+ years of COH(City of Houston) administrations UNDER FUNDING 9 – i.e.: NOT maintaining/repairing/replacing – our streets /roads/infrastructure !!! Mayor Parker finally decided to DO something about it.
Joel, I agree that the vines intrude into the sidewalk somewhat but other than that I don’t see anything.
GoogleMaster: The roads in Westmoreland and many of the FMC “side roads” are pretty bad — and those are non bus zones.

@Padraig – We had a Texas-sized hole in Daisetta a few years back. Though including this quaint exurb in the “Greater Metropolitan Area” is a stretch, I admit.
