  • I love the lush/tropical backyard. The Pool is really great with the outdoor bar. The interior needs some SERIOUS TLC, every track light would have to be replaced. The Wallpaper, carpet, appliances, cabinets, paint color. Looks like a Post Modern nightmare honestly. The only thing missing is the mural of the Birth of Venus above the bathtub. Or in this case, a painting of the Discus Thrower.

It needs to be de-cluttered (Looks borderline Hoarders). It’s like the owners have a phobia of blank wall or ceiling space. Every blank space is covered with some mismatching gaudy over-priced “antique”. People like this keep places like Old Town Spring in business.

They obviously dusted the disco ball on the outdoor patio but couldn’t be bothered to power wash the chimney, front fence, or mailbox. It’s odd. This house needs a 100K overhaul, and should be priced appropriately. Tile, then Carpet, then tile, then carpet, then tile, then carpet.

  • I admire this place. Many of the colors and furniture are not my taste, but it’s totally customizable with some fresh paint colors here and there (like over those “marbled magenta” bathroom cabinets). Would look totally different and the space more flowing once you remove all the clutter, excessive furniture, and track lighting. There sure is a lot of sound/video/lighting equipment on the back patio. Must suck to be the next door neighbor during the apparently bad-ass parties that must occur here frequently. Is that a chicken coop under the patio stairs?

  • It appears the homeowner also owns a lighting store! Damn! I’d hate to have to keep an inventory of light bulbs, they must keep the box stores in business as far as lights go.

Kudos on the landscaping though, that looks like a nice backyard to escape to, fun parties. I guess one could have a light bulb changing party.

  • YEAH!!!! Fight the power!! Death to monochromatic gray!!! Ok, I will admit a lot of the designs are too individualized and over the top for resale, but you only live once. $399k is actually a bit of a steal if you don’t mind having to spend a few bucks to undo some of the overly Auntie Mame touches and the odd dedication to tract lighting. It is a fun contemporary with a neat design in the backyard.

  • Mon Dieu! “La Cage Aux Folles” called, they want their house back.

  • Pretty sure that’s Saltillo tile, not Sausalito.

  • Yup! Bit too far north. Fixed now!

  • Somebody loved track lighting.

  • It’s the love child of Las Alamedas and a French bordello.

  • Oh the parties that must have been had in this swingers or nudists paradise.

  • I don’t even care if this place is gaudy in some places, I appreciate the “all-in” nature of it.
